Overcoming Overwhelm
Out of sheer frustration, I ended up creating for myself the easiest means of self development I've ever come across and it truly is the busy person's road to success.
I've spent more years that I'm going to tell you studying and observing behavior at University, through my teaching career, my studied and my life. I've read countless books attended many seminars and workshops and the bottom line is that it's certainly not what happens to us that counts!
What makes the difference is what you say to yourself about what's happened. and what you say to yourself is clearly based on the way you've interpreted your life to this point in time. Whether you see the glass as half full or half empty.
As a business owner, a parent and the partner of a person who worked long hours and travelled extensively I had no time to spare.
I did heaps of professional and personal development and I always came away from everything I did feeling motivated and ready for action ... and then life kicked in. I was so frustrated because I knew if I could just create a better mindset, then life would be so much easier. But to do that I had to have time to think about it (or so I thought) and I just didn't have that time.
And then one day I drew the line in the sand. I decided enough is enough! Things had to change.
And it came to me; the dawn of realization. I had to change the little voice in my head. You know the one, the one that keeps up that continuous line of chatter of doubt and negativity, that one that one always has something chronic and damning to say about you and your luck and your life. Things like ... you could never ... it's all right for them ... you'll never be able to ... I wouldn't happen to you ... why would 'they' listen to you ... Sound familiar?
You can probably relate to this:
- I had no time to write affirmations.
- No matter how hard I 'tried' I didn't seem to be able to think positive thoughts for any great length of time ... and ...
- As soon as I thought a negative thought I instantly started beating myself up for it and telling myself how dreadful I was
- I set goal after goal after goal and I always managed to focus on the ones I didn't get.
- I was taking as much massive action as I knew how and nothing seemed to be changing.
- I was working REALLY hard and no matter how hard I worked there was always more to do.
I was frustrated, exhausted, dispirited and disillusioned and a virtual time bomb and what's more I was a pain to all I loved and held dear.
I needed to make changes before I got changes I didn't want!
So I started recording my affirmations with uplifting music behind them and playing them as I drove to appointments and the children to their various things, as I did the housework and cooked the meals. And you know what? This very simple means of subliminal messaging worked!
Within days I was exercising and loving it. I was eating better and feeling great about myself, my partner, my children and my work. I was taking life and all its hiccups in my stride, so I was sleeping and waking up feeling refreshed and ready for a new day.
And guess what else? Because I was playing my recordings any time and anywhere, they impacted my whole family in the same way. As a result we were all enjoying life and each other much, much more.
I know that research into the effects of Subliminal Hypnosis is well documented and quite frankly from my own personal experience Subliminal Hypnosis is the best.
Love life and live it creatively and on purpose!
